La Galerie des Nanas has held Booth #14 at the New-York Outsider Art Fair in January 2016. We showed works by Augustin Lesage, Jean-Pierre Nadau, Evelyne Postic, Philippe Azema, Davide Cicolani, Martine Birobent, Anick Langelier, Les Frères Lessard, Anne-Marie Grgich, Béatrice Elso et Marion Oster dite Lucrèce and a few others.

La Galerie des Nanas opened its doors on September 2nd 2011 during the 13th edition of the Symposium des Arts de Danville*. It is a destination gallery showing untamed and insubordinate women, contemporary, outsider and fiber arts. Our name is a tribute to Niki De Saint-Phalle. The gallery houses the workshop of Martine Birobent but also hosts the work of Anick Langelier, Christine Béglet, Majka Kwiatowska, Béatrice Elso, Anne-Marie Grgich and several other wild girls! Check out our current list.

Danville is a pretty Eastern Township village offering guest houses lodging and a great fine cuisine restaurant. The gallery will soon commission work, offer residency and solo exhibitions. We hope to reach out south of the border with Vermont and New Hampshire women artists, also to connect with the vast US, Canadian and European networks of outsider art destinations.
